The Electric Vespa by Piaggio enters the University Hospital to support the Emergency Department
In support of the Emergency Department an Electric Vespa by Piaggio was donated to the University Hospital.
The future needs sustainable actions: the Biomedical University Foundation, foundation of Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome, has received as a donation from the Piaggio Group an exclusive example of Vespa Elettrica that will help support the future Emergency Department of the Campus Bio- Medico University Hospital, scheduled to open in 2020.
Strategically placed in the entrance hall of the University Hospital, the Electric Vespa, the green version of the Piaggio Group’s iconic scooter that has changed the concept of mobility in the world since 1946, will be on display until mid-November 2019 and will be the subject of a public contest, in starting on 15th September, in honor to the sustainability of the Emergency Department.
The delivery ceremony of the Electric Vespa was officiated by On. Matteo Colaninno, Deputy Chairman of the Piaggio Group, together with prof. Raffaele Perrone Donnorso, President of ANPO and promoter of this initiative, prof. Arullani, President of the Biomedical University Foundation and the top management of Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome.
Born as a contemporary icon of Italian technology in the world, the Electric Vespa is symbolic of accessibility, environmental sustainability and uniqueness of style, values that have always belonged to Vespa and that today Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital intends to give to the new Emergency Department.
