On 11th July 2017 in the presence of many close acquaintances of Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome, just a little over two years after its creation, the Biomedical University Foundation gathered to reveal the long-term strategic areas it intends to pursue.
During the event, graciously hosted by On. Gianfranco Librandi on his beautiful Roman terrace, he talked about the future and presented the University Development Plan for the next 30 years, but he also talked about the present, the humanity and professionalism that are the trade mark of our hospital’s special environment of the hospital told by the nurses and managers of the nursing.
Biomedical University Foundation strategic areas of intervention are the following:
• Robotics and Nanotechnologies for people’s healthcare
• Translational research for the diagnosis and therapy of degenerative diseases (cancer, Alzheimer’s, autism)
• Integration Hospital-Community
“These projects”, added President Paolo Arullani, “widen the horizon towards new therapies whilst keeping a clear focus on the individuals, a combination of factors absolutely central to the Foundation. Therefore, the creation of its Endowment Fund is justified, which aims to address the care or research priorities regardless of the budget: the Biomedical University Foundation was absolutely necessary! ”.
