The Fondazione Policlinico University Campus Bio-Medico is a non-profit entity and pursues the aims of protecting and promoting each human being in the field of health care, education, scientific research and innovation in biomedical and health care, both clinical and translational. 

Attention is given to each patient’s personal situation in receiving each person and incompliance with the highest international standards of safety and quality. The hospital equipment is all state-of-the-art and constitutes the essential elements of health care. 

The facility is equipped with more than sixty Operating Units. It provides health care in agreement with the National Health Service as well as serving the private sector. It includes doctor visits, outpatient services, day-surgeries, multidisciplinary inpatient wards organized according to the intensity of care and a level I Emergency Department – DEA designed according to the most advanced quality and safety standards.  

Accompanying the panorama of the healthcare offerings are the Center for the Health of the Elderly and the Palliative Care Center “Together in Care” and the Radiation Oncology Hub located in the Prenestino neighborhood.
